Summary
I am a freelance photographer and photography assistant based between Melbourne and the Surf Coast. Though the bulk of my experience is in fashion and portraiture, I also have a keen interest in beauty. Inspired by editorial imagery and the colours and textures of film, I enjoy capturing a sense of femininity, strength, and movement.
Whether on set or location I pride myself on my organisation, communication, and attention to detail. In addition to my professional photography experience, I am experienced in leading, fast-paced retail environments such as Apple, lululemon, and MECCA.
Professional Experience
Photographer / April 2024 to present. Select clients include Everi-Body, Stone Street Agency, and Perple.
Liaises with clients to understand their vision, manage project briefs, and schedule shoots.
Provides creative direction and pre-production including managing talent, styling, hair and make-up, lighting, set design and props.
Guides and directs talent on poses, expression and movements to achieve the desired look and feel.
Captures, edits and retouches images with software including Capture One, Lightroom and Photoshop.
Manages all photography assets, including uploading and sharing images across multiple channels.
Photography Assistant / October 2024 to present. Select clients include GANT Australia, Mitch Lally, and Kayla May Petty-Kook.
Assists gear management, set preparation (studio and on location), and equipment setup.
Provides lighting assistance, organising and adjusting lighting equipment to achieve the desired look and feel.
Provides digital workflow support including tethering, quality control and file management with Capture One and Lightroom.
Provides logistical support, running errands and ensuring shoots run smoothly to allow the photographer/s to focus on image capture.
Creates engaging content for social media (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) and other digital platforms.
